Oh mom gee, only one more day of this cleanse and then it's OVAH! With that being said, I had the auto-delivery service send me the Weight Maintenance pack this time around. I was interested in this because it came with the Shake, Cleanse, E+ Shots, and Want More Energy packets. (I decided on this before I realized that the E+ shots taste like doodoo. My trainer doesn't like them either, but her husband will drink them, so I gave them to her. I'm hoping/thinking that I should be getting my weekly menu again from her either tonight or tomorrow morning. (If I haven't received it by my meeting with her tomorrow, I will just remind that my Isagenix is over for the time being). I am so super excited for the menu!
Today when I got to the gym I was given an option of back/shoulders or arms. I am quite positive that it has been longer since I have done an arm workout, so that was my choice today! The moves I did were the following: close grip chest press, dumbbell twist curls, tricep dumbbell extensions, burpees with a bicep curl at the end (I actually held onto the dumbbell the whole time I did the burpees), cable machine bicep curls, standing bent-over two-arm dumbbell tricep extensions, and sit ups on a swiss ball. This was a much lower-key workout compared to Tuesday. My heart rate still jumped up during burpees, but overall it was kept pretty "low" (at least for me!)
My quads are STILL sore today. This morning was the most painful of the soreness, and that is really due to the fact that was very concentrated in the quads. It is evening now, and I can definitely feel they are on the mend. I have a feeling by tomorrow I should be good to go. My butt was incredibly sore yesterday too, which I thought was really funny and a bit odd, since I didn't really feel those muscles being worked on Tuesday!
My time of the month will be starting any day now, and I just want it to hurry up and come, so that it can be over with. I am really looking forward to Saturday, my family has decided my cheat meal will be Indian food. I'm really looking forward to that! I have my workout tomorrow morning, and I'm not sure what it will be, but I suspect it to be circuit training. Anyway, I'll do an update tomorrow on that! Oh! I bought a new camera today that has video recording capability. I was thinking of making videos to go with some of my blogs, but I wasn't sure if that was something anyone would be interested in. I'd like to do a health/fitness series based on my weekly menus, and my workouts. I was also thinking of doing a gym essentials blog and vlog. Let me know your thoughts on that!
