Today felt a bit all over the place! I am working a nasty shift tonight, and I ended up running a few errands as well went to the store to get a new pair of goal pants before I had to work. I purchased a pair of size 28 (approx. equivalent to a size 6) pair of Hudson jeans, which is one of my favorite brands. There is a picture included below. To my surprise they actually are quite close to fitting! I could get everything zipped and buttoned, but there definitely is a little muffin top going on, so I'm not planning on throwing it into my wardrobe quite yet.
I also purchased a new heart rate monitor, it's the same brand and style as the one that pooped out on me. Before it broke, it was great. They are on sale right now at Best Buy, so they are currently a great deal. The Polar FT4 (only in the pink) is currently $59.99, and it's usually closer to $100. You can find deals online, but that price is actually cheaper than what you can usually find, and I got it right away!
Then I met up with one of my coworkers/friends for lunch today. She started working out with my trainer after she started seeing my results. In 10 weeks she has lost 13 pounds, she's making a great start! We met up at Subway and I had my standard chopped turkey salad with a mixture of spinach, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, jalepenos, banana peppers, and cucumbers. I always ask to get my dressing on the side, and I had the sweet onion sauce. I usually only put a little bit of dressing in my salad (around 1 tablespoon at most). My trick is to put the dressing in the salad, put the lid back on tightly, and shake! It helps to even distribute the dressing to each bite. Super delicious, but I got so full that I couldn't completely finish it.
Then at 3, I ended up meeting my personal trainer and today was a back circuit kind of day. I did moves that still got my heart rate going really high, (burpees were included today), and I surprisingly burned 485 calories in 42 minutes! I was very happy to have my HRM again confirm that my heart rate was going up and that I was burning a good amount of calories. We were talking while I was working out, and she said something that made me feel incredibly happy and proud. She called me a "poster child" which I thought was actually pretty fun, but she said the reason is because her clients that work out before and after me have asked what I was doing and were actually able to see the change in me and was curious about what exactly I was doing because they wanted to do the same. I never would have thought that I would be an inspiration to anyone. She also told me that she tells people who ask that I work out with her 3 times a week as well as working out on my own and eating healthy. I just felt really happy to hear that.
Lastly the Isagenix part of my day... Apparently I need to learn how to read! I woke up this morning and did all of my measurements just to realize that the paper said Day 18. I'm on Day 15, so I will just cross out all of those measurements and do the measurements on the correct date. I don't expect there to be a lot of change in just a couple of days, but due to that I will wait a little longer to post my results. I just have not felt very hungry today at all, and so far I'm pretty low on my calories. I'm also going to try the Energy shot from Isagenix tonight if I start feeling tired during this super late shift. If I do end up drinking it, I will make sure to write a quick review on the taste and if it actually helps with energy levels.
