Well, today is my 3rd day of the Isagenix cleanse. My eating times were really off today, and because of that I did experience some hunger. Now, unlike many people, I actually kind of like the feeling of being hungry. (Obviously I wouldn't like it if it lasted a long time, or it happened often.)
Today was "challenging" mostly due to the fact that I save my cheat meal for Saturdays. I still went out to eat with the family, and we ended up going to Applebees. Thankfully they have some "healthier" choices, so I ended up getting something off their under 550 calories part of the menu. It was really high in sodium, and probably fat content, but overall it was a good meal. My parents had pasta, rice, and bread sticks with their food and I was a little jealous that I didn't get to eat that, but my food had good flavor, and I was content. I also didn't get my froyo after, which is something that I like to get. I let the family know that it would be this way for about a month, and then we can go back to the 1 cheat meal where I can have dessert too.
I'm not sure if it's because I'm still really early into the program, but I was not upset with the fact I couldn't eat dessert, or any "bad" foods. I know it's not forever, so mentally it doesn't seem to be affecting me. These shakes are growing on me. I think the added cinnamon and stevia have been really helpful.
Tomorrow is my first actual cleanse day, and I'm curious to see how that goes. I will do a review on how it tastes after I try it, as well as update on how I feel. As for now I'm going to finish my last shake of the day, and then I think I might get a late evening/early night workout in. My legs are feeling sore from my workout yesterday (specifically my calves and quads). It feels good though.
